Silk Stockings and High Heels If I had to tell you about me in fifteen words I couldn’t do it. Not because there’s just too much to write in fifteen words, in fact, because it’s completely the opposite. I wouldn’t be able to find fifteen words that could represent my life. Hell, I’d have trouble finding five. So lets just try and do our best shall we?
Make Me Your Cheeky Vixen Dixon I am a first year student at University, studying drama. So yep, cue those jokes please! I’m 19, about halfway to 20, and really don’t feel ready to leave my teens. When I still get asked if I want child tickets on the train, it’s not much of a surprise right? I have a feeling that in the race of life I'm standing still. Any slower and I'll be moving backwards. What’s worrying is that whilst I’m standing still, life’s racing on all around me, and I’m just not sure I’ll ever catch up.
Chocolate Ice Cream Dreams If you can define me by what I love, rather than who I am, I guess you’d need the list right? I adore; Poliakoff dramas - at the moment, my favourite is ‘Friends and Crocodiles’. Sport - although this is increasingly becoming more of the couch potato variety. Books – are really my one true love, especially old books with creaky binding and coloured pages. By default then I love all bookshops, and you guessed it, old ones of those are the best too! J’adore Acting/Scriptwriting/Anything to do with drama, because funnily enough, I’m a drama student! I love music, because sometimes, it captures an indefinable moment in time, or emotion better than anything else can. Good Television – however you define that. Personally I love programs such as Spooks, Hustle, The Street, etc, but good television is how you see it, I’m not here to condemn yours just because I don’t watch it.
Silent Whispers on Black and White Screens I get angry too quickly, especially if I think you’re being unjust. I’m a mass of contradictions, I live a life that’s more ‘do as I say, not as I do’, but I do believe in life you should have fun. None of us know if it is our only one, but even if it isn’t, what use is a boring life lived in vain? I get passionate about the little things, when sometimes I just can’t get worked up about the bigger problems life throws at us. The thought of having to do washing every week of my life depresses me, and I’m not sure that’s ever going to go away. I want to be a 70 year old woman, wrinkles and all, falling over on her butt whilst ice-skating, laughing and pulling her friends over with her. If I can’t be that, I’m not sure that I want to be anything.
